Earth Hour - Are you aware?

I believe everyone has heard about Earth Hour, if you don't, YOU ARE EXTREMELY OUTDATED. Of course, it also means that you are unaware about the environment. Earth Hour is an event where everyone is encouraged to close the lights off and all electrical appliances for one hour in order to against climate change. 

It started in 2007 where World Wide Foundation (WWF) - Australia inspired the Sydney-siders to show their support for the issue on climate change. In Sydney, Australia, 2.2 million individuals and more than 2,000 businesses turned their lights out for one hour to against the climate change.

The first Earth Hour 

Next, in 2008, the plan was originally intended to take Earth Hour to the rest of Australia. However, the City of Toronto, Canada, signed up and later on almost 400 cities and towns had signed up to be part of the event. Something were said back then "The climate challenges facing our planet are so significant that change needs to be global."

Ever since then, this event is scheduled that on the last Saturday of every March, which closely coinciding that most of the cities are in darkness. 

This year's event falls on this coming Saturday, 31st of March. Malaysians are encouraged to take part of this event. In the past few years, you may see hilltops such as Hulu Langat will be crowded with people. People took the chance to turn the lights off for one hour and went to there to see the night view. By 8.30pm, you will be able to see how the lights off in KL. In addition, many businesses especially cafes and restaurants turned off their lights too and substitute with candles. A romantic atmosphere will be created.

In conjunction with Earth Hour for this year, students of American Degree Program Fayette House from Segi College Kuala Lumpur is going to organize an event called Green Awareness Roadshow on this coming Saturday 31st March at LYL Building, from 9am - 2.30pm.

They also set up a booth in the lobby from in the same week, from Monday to Friday (25/3 - 30/3) to sell the green awareness T-shirts. The T-shirts were designed by the students themselves. The price of the T-shirt is RM 25 each. A wristband will be given out as gift when you buy the T-shirt. It has two colors, white and green, which you can choose it yourself. If you can't afford to buy the T-shirt, you can buy the wristband at RM 2 each to show your support!

2NE1 - UGLY

2NE1 is a four member hip hop- south Korean girls which form by YG entertainment. 

The name 2NE1 combines the phrases "21st century" and "new evolution", and is pronounced "twenty-one" or "to anyone".

They are the most famous girls group in Korean, also known as girls version BIG BANG.

Their hip hop dance is the best in all the girls group in South Korea although their age is in range of 18-28.

Big Bang

Korea boys group, Big bang. They are the most famous group in Korea. Their fashion style in MV is the most interesting and attractive thing. Their song and dance is so cool and no one can be replaced.

Big Bang is considered to be one of the most successful South Korean music groups both within and outside Asia. The group consists of leader G-Dragon, T.O.P, Taeyang,Daesung and Seungri.

One of their song Fantastic Baby is the latest album of them.

Shojikiya Desa Park City

i visit to one of the Shojikiya which is in Desa Park City.

Their staff were very nice and they let me take a lot of pictures.

This is one of the cute girl which was their staff.

Shojikiya import many types of Japanese rice cracker. 

There are spicy, original, with seaweed, cheese, sweet, salty and so on,

I found some special cracker which is spaghetti flavor, pizza flavor, sushi flavor and so on.

There are a lot of cup noodles and they looks delicious.

the staff over there told me that, ice cream was one of the most popular item in their shop.

Japanese food lover love their ice- cream so much, especially the green tea flavor.

They have Hello Panda which is the kid's flavourite! there are all kind of flavor such as vanilla, double chocolate, chocolate, strawberries, or all flavor together.

Their drinks are their best selling too.

i tried their carbonate drinks before,

Japanese carbonate drinks have more gas then the western carbonate drinks!

i love their juice, because Japanese juice always 100% pure fruit juice.

They are very busy everyday.

 These are the small snacks that the kids always asked mommy to buy.

Shojikiya sell Choya (Plum Wine) too. They have all kind of plum wine.

sweet, without sugar, with honey, and so on.

They have drinking vinegar and sake (Japanese Alcohol) too.

They will let you try before you decide to buy which one.

Shojikiya, Japanese Food Specialty Store

Shojikiya is the first japanese food specialty store in Malaysia.

the photo below was Shojikiya 正直屋.

you can find Shojikiya beside some Japanese restaurant such as Sushi Zen, Pasta Zanmai, RaguZen, Sushi Zanmai, Hokkaido Ichiba and so on.

This is their uniform, a white polo tee shirt with a little Shojikiya Logo.

Sometime, they are in some lifestyle magazine and they always say Shojikiya was a shopping heaven of Japanese Snack.

You can find some special snack of cartoon in Shojikiya. 

For example, the snack of Crayon Shin Chan

is so lovely and delicious.
