Power of Internet

Whenever you have a question or a problem and it's a the moment whereby you can turn to no one to ask, the instant reaction you'll have will be, "Never mind, I'll GOOGLE it!"

The Internet now plays a very big and important role. Everyone using it must holds the responsibility as an Internet user. Everything you wanted to know was all on your fingertips. With just an instant click, you can access to everything you need to know and what you want to do.

But, it's unavoidable when people started to misuse the power of Internet. Some people changes some facts and information from the Internet, posted nasty stuff and more. There are many cases where the Internet seems to be the caused of many social issues. And most of the victims are the teenagers and, the issues were also caused by them.

There's a case last year where a video posted up on the net about a group of girls bullying a girl by cutting off her hair, slapping her and pouring water all over her. The video goes viral in Facebook and it was even brought up to the media. Soon, police were brought along in investigation and charge the girls for bullying.



Another case, was a Singaporean girl who posted about her action/intention to slap her mother. This one small status update caused another viral spread all over Twitter and many started attacking the girl for something that they had just READ and not SEEN.

One more case on Pepsi and Coca-Cola company where people start spreading about an AIDS worker accidentally dropped few drops of his blood into the drinks which were distributed nationwide. Upon reading it, many had share this updates and intend to boycott the drinks.
But, little did they know how untrue the news is about. Without using their conscious to think about the blood that contaminate AIDS. The virus cannot survive outside the human bodies for some time. Thus, even if the AIDS worker dropped his blood, it won't contaminate anyone drinking it.

The advancement of Internet actually caused people to rely only on their eyes. What they see and what they had read, they would have immediately believe it, without having any second thought. Due to this matter, many started to spread fake rumours which eventually spoilt the image of themselves and affected the people they are spreading the rumours on.

If the Internet were used in a proper way, it can works to help people but if used it in the wrong way, many people can be the victim of the Internet. So, let's us all work together in building and making use of the Internet wisely.

Looking for the better PC offer? Wondering where can you do survey on your computer? Looking for a large variety of choices in accesories and more? All your worries can be taken over with the latest PC Fair, held in Kuala Lumpur Exhibition Centre!

With brands from Dell, Asus, Fujitsu and more, the whole convention centre were fully packed with booths and people visiting from all place. Special offers and some with additional gifts as well as packages were offer to customers. Models can be found in almost all the booths, posing around with the laptop.

Brinchang Pasar Malam

I bet many of us are familiar with Cameron Highlands. What about a night market there in Brinchang? Operating only in the weekends, this night market were often spotted filled with people walking in and out.

It's easy to be located as it's just right opposite of the police station. From selling strawberries to vegetables and souveniers, many visitors love coming here to get what they want with reasonable price. The people there are kind enough as well to tell you which is the better one and they definitely are more friendly.

LOMO Camera - Octomat

Remember the time when your cameras only works on film?  The time when you have to push the trigger or roll the film to proceed to the next frame or picture? The type of camera where you can't see the pictures that you had snap and to see it, you just have to wait for the film to be developed?

With the evolution of technology, people soon forgotten about the film cameras. All wrap up in digital, people now can choose to view their pictures right after they snap, choose which to keep and which to delete, and they don't have to wait the pictures to be developed in order to see the products. 

But, the Lomography society had decided to bring back this concept of cameras. Many types of film cameras had been introduced, all known as the LOMO camera. One of the special kind of film camera is the Octomat camera. 

You must be wondering, what is so great about this camera? Like how the camera was named, it produced 8 pictures at a time. This camera has 8 lens that allows it to captured 8 different pictures in total of 8 seconds time. It can be said as a camera with surprise. You won't know what you had captured, especially during the 8 seconds time. 

Using the normal Kodak film, you have to move the trigger after capturing the pictures. This action is to move the film inside to the next frame. Below the camera, there's an indication that indicates how many pictures had been taken and every move of the trigger will change the numbers below. 

One thing about the camera that may caused some headache to the user is the lighting problems. This camera need lots of strong lights. It can be a problem to capture pictures indoor as it has insufficient light sources. Using it outdoor may produced many satisfied pictures.

We Not Naughty

Remember Jack Neo? His movies are all filled with moral values and filled with both touching and funny elements. From his productions, 'I Not Stupid' and 'I Not Stupid Too', he's now back with the new movie, 'We Not Naughty'

Starring Joshua Ang and Shawn Lee, it's about the kids who were known as bad kids to the adults. Instead of trying hard to impress their parents, those teenagers gave up trying and eventually turned bad, in order to protect themselves, not knowing that it's wrong.

Jack Neo also managed to include the current social problem which the teenagers and kids mostly faced now. The differentiation of class or status, bullying, the power of internet and so on, it eventually channel a message to everyone out there as a warning, something they should pay attention on.

Being such a creative director, Jack Neo prevent his movie from getting too boring and too straightforward. Some elements of humour and excitement were placed in his movie, which the viewer can eventually received and accept the message that he wanted to say.

The ending of the movie is nice, whereby the kids' hard work are being recognised and eventually they were all back on the right track. Overall, the movie was good and it's worth watching.

Butterfly Farm in Cameron Highlands

With the rising of more buildings, it's not easy to get close to nature. But, visiting the Butterfly Farm in Cameron Highlands, your wish to be closer to nature will eventually came true!

With the entrance fees at only RM5 for adults and RM2 for kids, it's definitely worth paying for it. There's a farm filled with hundreds and maybe thousands of butterflies and moths flying around you. It will be an exciting experience as people now can hardly get closer to nature and experience it with them.

Romance in Fate - Bridal Fair 2012

Thinking of moving your relationship further? Ready to have a family with your love ones? Thinking about your upcoming big day preparations? Having much stress thinking and worrying about it?

Afraid not! The Bridal Fair had finally arrived! Organised by Feminine and My Wedding magazines, this even is held in MidValley Exhibition Centre from 24th February to 26th February 2012

In this fair, there are up to more than 100 booths set up there, filled with companies all around Malaysia. From decorations to shoes, future brides and bridegrooms can have their problems solved here. Many exhibits their dresses, pictures, magazines and many more to attract the attentions of the fellow visitors.

Besides the exhibition, there are fashion shows on the wedding dress. The people are setting up the stage before the show.

Besides the pictures shown above, they have exhibitors exhibits on bridal house, wedding venue and banquet, beauty and slimming, as well as wedding services.

Wedding is an event that gonna take place once in your lifetime. It is a day where both brides and grooms will feel lucky to have each other. So, make no regret on this big day. Visit the exhibition before it's too late!
